On October 3-5, 2024, the II International Conference "Architectural Heritage and Contemporary Architecture" took place at the "COAF SMART Center" in Debet Village, Lori Marz. Organized by the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, the conference aimed to facilitate scholarly discussions on the modern challenges facing architectural heritage and explore potential solutions, while also providing a platform for exchanging achievements and best practices in the field.

Participants from Germany, Italy, Spain, and France delivered a total of 30 presentations. Discussions about these works, professional debates, exchanges of expertise and opinions, and presentations of similar research conducted by international colleagues were important. As a result, scientists improved their professional skills and shared their experiences. I hope that our cooperation will become more promising and mutually beneficial.

The conference was attended not only by renowned scientists but also by young scientists, students, and PhD students. The participation of the latter is especially encouraged to ensure the stability of scientific activity.

And so, the conference became a vital international forum for sharing experiences in architectural heritage preservation, showcasing innovative approaches, and tackling urgent issues. Online presentations were also part of the conference, and 8 of the 23 papers presented were accepted for publication.
